NXT TV REPORT 04-03-15

I
This week on NXT women's champion Sasha Banks defended her belt against Charlotte, Saloman crowe made his long awaited NXT in ring debut, Tyler Breeze took on the returning Adam Rose, Boron Corbain was in action as well as NXT tag team champions Murphy and Blake.

Tyler Breeze bested Adam Rose
Good opener even if it was a bit of a quick match, breeze put in more an a competent performance here while rose well what can I say about the guy he has fallen so far since June and seems to be going nowhere. My thinking is rose needs to go back and get ruthless, maybe Leo Kruger could help him with that.

Blake and Murphy beat Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton
Another average tv match where not much of importance happened, I
Suppose it gave Murphy and Blake a much needed win as they don't seem to be at the level champions should be at and as long as there beaten jobbers not a lot else will change for this team going forward.

Boron Corbain hammered Tony Briggs
Another match which was throwaway with the angle which happened during it really only meaning anything. As Kevin Owens came out and harassed commentator Alex Riely. This all spawned  from Riely's comments directed at the NXT champion last week. After Corbain killed Briggs with his end of days and pinned him owens poured Riely's bottled water on top of him. This made Riely so hot that he stormed to the back and told NXT comissionier William Regel he quit as an announcer (earlier in a segment regal had told Riely he was an announcer not a wrestler anymore and he needed to forcus on that rather than Owens) and wanted owens In a match. To which regal accepted his resignation but it caused CJ Parker who was with regal to say get in line Riely. This has me starting to fear the worst with possibility of Riely beating and winning the NXT title from Owens but hunter wouldn't be that stupid right?

Zayn "Quits"
A rather bizarre segment saw Sami zayn sort of say he was going on leave after the beating he recieved from "former"best friend kevin Owens. I had no problem with Zayn going away for a little while as long as he returns at the next NXT new generation special on the wwe network on wrestlemania week.

Saloman Crowe defeated Bull Dempsey
A very average match and not a very impressive redebut (in ring) for crowe who I enjoyed watching in CZW as Sami Cullihan. Maybe Crowe was nervous which I currently hope to be the case for him. Anyway Crowe won after hitting a running knee and his headbutt while using the ropes for leverage finisher (which needs to change and quick).

Sasha Banks pinned Charlotte to retain the NXT Women's Title
Another top quality bout between these two ladies who are becoming the rolls Royce of the womens wrestling. Here sasha came across as confident and cocky as ever and she carried herself like a true pro and champion would do,
much like Charlotte does as well. These two are proving their proper women wrestlers but I do fear for both of them on the main roster. I can just see it now with vince and his boy kevin Dunn finding some kind of fault with these two and that is a shame but then maybe they will prove this reviwer wrong. After 10 minutes of solid action with the story being Charlotte's bad back and Sasha taking advantage of charlottes hurt back and trying to make charlotte submit to the banks statement but the challenger refused to quit. In the end Charlotte missed the natural selection and Sasha rolled up Charlotte for the 1,2 and 3.
