This week on NXT Hideo Itami faced Tyler Breeze in the main event, Alex Reily faced CJ Parker, Alexa Bliss made her in ring return to NXT and Enzo&Cass faced the Lucha Dragons.
Enzo&Cass downed Lucha Dragons (Kalisto&Sin Huncio)
Average match to open the show, it only exsisted to further enzo and cass's future NXT tag team title shot which they will probably get over the wrestlemania weekend. It ended after a few minutes of so, so action when enzo (assisted by big cass) gave Kalisto a big splash from the top rope. Is it just me or is it about time the Lucha Dragons moved to the main roster but then you could say that about 80% of the NXT roster at the moment.
Video Package promoting next weeks show
This is only in this review because it gave away the obvious Alex reily win for later on in the show. It showed that A-RY would challenge kevin owens for the NXT title next week, someone in post production dropped the ball here.
Alexa Bliss beat Carmella
Another average match which existed to only further bliss towards a title shot at sasha (a match I'm personally looking forward to). Bliss won with her sparkle splash which looked terrible, she like Saloman crowe needs to find a new finisher. Carmella was clearly not over here in fact she had the wrong kind of heat much like david arquette had during his awful WCW world title run in 2000.
Alex Reily pinned CJ Parker
Another average match were the result was telligraphed thanks to the earlier video package. At the end of the bout the NXT champion kevin owens came out and he vowed to end reily's career. I for one am not looking forward to this match as I'm bored of the A-RY push already because let's face it Reily shouldn't be anywhere near a match with owens yet.
Main Event: Tyler Breeze defeated Hideo Itami
Yep you guessed it Another average match but was better than anything we got on raw this week. After 10 minutes of average action breeze picked up the win with his beauty shot finisher. Am I the only one who fills Hideo needed the win more here than breeze. As tyler is clearly over and Hideo is not, I fill Itami should have had the win here and with breeze beating him so convincingly where does this leave Hideo? Well like bull Dempsey he's going nowhere unfortunately.
